About The Position

As a Laundry Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest quality of cleanliness in the laundry facilities, ensuring the cleanliness of guest linen, and providing efficient, prompt, courteous, trouble-free, and proactive service to guests. This role involves managing laundry operations to support the overall guest experience.

Requirements

A minimum of (1) year of Laundry experience.
Able to speak and understand basic English.
Must be able to work independently and exercise good judgment to resolve issues.

Nice To Haves

A minimum of (1) years of hospitality experience.
High School education.

Responsibilities

Wash and fold linen.
Sort, separate, and transport linen from the chute room.
Maintain furnishing, facilities, and equipment in the cleanest possible condition, and ensure that repair and maintenance are executed when needed.
Manage daily inventory and disbursement for all linen, cleaning supplies, guest rooms, meeting rooms, public areas, restroom supplies, laundry supplies, and housekeeping related machinery and equipment.
Oversee all rotational and special cleaning programs.
Keep linen closets and carts clean and stocked.
Serve as a resource for housekeeping procedures when needed.
Follow emergency procedures to ensure the security and safety of guests and employees.
Work in a safe manner that does not harm or injure self or others, wearing and using appropriate safety clothing/equipment and following all maintenance instructions.
Keep work area clean and orderly, and report defective materials and equipment to the immediate supervisor.
Perform any other duties assigned by the manager.
