About The Position

Core Linen Services provides hospital and hospitality laundry processing services, with a focus on service, quality, and safety. The Laundry Production Supervisor is responsible for departmental efficiency in a safe working environment and for ensuring customer orders are filled and delivered accurately and efficiently. The role considers the needs and conditions of other plant departments when planning laundry productivity and service. It provides direct supervision to assigned laundry departments and plant employees.

Requirements

At least 1 to 3 years of combined operations and supervisory experience.
Proficiency with Windows-based office software, including Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Adequate interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to identify problems, propose solutions, and execute possible solutions.
Ability to make decisions regarding production, distribution, and scheduling.
Ability to multitask and establish priorities.
Initiative, sense of urgency, responsibility, flexibility, and leadership.

Nice To Haves

Associate’s degree in a related field preferred.
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to team building.

Responsibilities

Prepare work schedules for production employees in assigned departments.
Provide daily work assignments.
Monitor and ensure productivity records are posted; counsel, coach, and provide corrective action for employees as necessary.
Monitor, report, and record daily fill rates.
Ensure a safe work environment for employees.
Inform the Operations Manager or Production Manager of problematic situations related to laundry operations.
Provide direct supervision to assigned laundry departments and plant employees.
