Laundry Attendant (Monday-Friday 7am - 3:30pm)

About The Position

The Laundry Attendant washes, dries, and returns client clothing, linens, and facility cleaning items in a timely and professional manner. The role also includes ironing linens and uniforms, cleaning the sauna and sauna towels, maintaining a neat laundry area, assisting Housekeeping when needed, completing Client Laundry Logs, and documenting and maintaining Lost & Found items. The position is with American Addiction Centers, which provides care to adults experiencing addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders.

Requirements

Two years of experience in a hospitality or cleaning services position related to the upkeep and cleaning of interior physical areas.
Ability to read and interpret written information and write clearly and informatively, including editing work for spelling and grammar.
Ability to speak clearly and persuasively, listen and seek clarification, respond well to questions, demonstrate group presentation skills, and participate in meetings.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Must be able to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and flexible hours.
Must be able to lift 15 pounds at a time.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma preferred.

Responsibilities

Wash and dry all client clothing.
Return clean laundry in a timely and professional manner.
Iron sheets, pillowcases, and napkins as needed.
Wash and dry kitchen napkins and cleaning rags, including Housekeeping cleaning rags.
Iron linens and work uniforms.
Clean the sauna and sauna towels.
Maintain a clean and neat laundry area at all times.
Assist Housekeeping when necessary.
Complete the Client Laundry Log.
Properly document and maintain Lost & Found items.
