Laundry Attendant - Part Time

About The Position
The Laundry Attendant works in the laundry operation at the Omni New Haven Hotel. The role operates laundry equipment, handles and processes linens, uniforms, guest valet, robes, and rags, and maintains a clean work area and machines. The position also participates in rotating work assignments and completes other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Operate dryers.
- Operate the sheet folder and towel folder.
- Shake out linen that needs processing.
- Clean all dryers at least three times a day.
- Clean the area and blow down all machines.
- Process associate uniforms daily.
- Process guest valet upon request.
- Operate the steam tunnel.
- Participate in the daily rotation of work positions.
- Process and bag guest robes.
- Process and distribute rags.
- Pull linen chutes.
- Separate and weigh linens.
- Inventory linens.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
