About The Position
The Laundry Attendant performs laundry operations, including operating dryers, sheet and towel folders, and a steam tunnel. The role handles linens, associate uniforms, guest valet laundry, guest robes, and rags; maintains laundry equipment and work areas; and participates in rotating work assignments.
Responsibilities
- Operate dryers.
- Operate the sheet folder and towel folder.
- Shake out linen as needed.
- Clean all dryers at least three times a day.
- Clean the area and blow down all machines.
- Process associate uniforms daily.
- Process guest valet laundry upon request.
- Operate the steam tunnel.
- Participate in the daily rotation of work positions.
- Process and bag guest robes.
- Process and distribute rags.
- Pull linen chutes.
- Separate and weigh linens.
- Inventory linens.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
