About The Position

The Laundry Attendant maintains efficient, high-quality laundry operations and ensures linens and guest items are clean, organized, and readily available. The role contributes to guest satisfaction, operational efficiency, and the property’s appearance and hygiene. The attendant operates and maintains laundry equipment, processes and organizes laundry, and maintains a professional and friendly manner when interacting with guests and team members. On-the-job training is provided. A background check must be completed successfully before employment.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in laundry or housekeeping operations is a plus but not required.
• Familiarity with washers, dryers, and ironing equipment is beneficial.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate washers, dryers, and other laundry equipment according to established procedures.
• Load items into washers with the correct amount of detergent or cleaning agent and start wash cycles.
• Transfer washed items to dryers or wringers and ensure appropriate drying times.
• Sort, fold, and organize laundry items by type or identification number.
• Iron table linens and other designated items to maintain presentation standards.
• Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of laundry equipment, lubricating and servicing machines as needed.
• Greet guests warmly and professionally when encountered.
• Perform job-related physical activities, including extended standing or sitting, lifting and carrying items, bending, twisting, and reaching.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
