About The Position

The Laundry Attendant processes hotel linens to ensure guests have fresh, clean linens. The role involves gathering, sorting, inspecting, washing, drying, fluffing, and folding laundry while maintaining quality and a steady workflow. It requires staying on your feet and moving throughout the shift, lifting laundry loads, and bending and stretching. The attendant keeps clean linens available when needed, maintains an orderly workspace, follows safe lifting practices, and collaborates with teammates to meet linen demands.

Hotel Deco is a historic Omaha property combining Art Deco design with modern boutique luxury. Its facilities include renovated rooms, event spaces, and the on-site restaurant and lounge The Monarch. The hotel is near the Orpheum Theater and Old Market, in a downtown environment that values personalized service and refined design.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in a hotel, laundry, housekeeping, or related field preferred.
• Ability to lift laundry loads and bend and stretch throughout the shift.

• Operate washers and dryers.
• Sort, inspect, and process linens, paying attention to quality.

• Work with the laundry team to meet linen demands and maintain a clean operation.
