About The Position

Pyramid Global Hospitality is hiring a full-time Laundry Attendant for the La Quinta Resort and Club. The Laundry Attendant supports the housekeeping team and helps provide clean, well-maintained guest and restaurant/catering linens. The role contributes to resort cleanliness and guest satisfaction by engaging with guests, maintaining clean and organized work areas, using equipment and chemicals appropriately, and assisting housekeepers and housemen as needed.

Requirements

Housekeeping experience is desirable.
Neat, pleasant personality.
Time management skills.
Ability to work on feet for an extended period.
Ability to communicate effectively.
Ability to move, traverse, and position oneself to reach floor corners and high places; observe conditions and detect odors; and position and navigate carts weighing up to 100 lbs. in tight spaces.
Ability to operate equipment including spray bottles, vacuums, mops, brooms, dust pans, scrub pads, and dusters.
Ability to lift, carry, and position loads of at least 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

Engage with guests to ensure their stay is going well.
Work as part of a team to maintain resort and hotel cleanliness.
Wash, dry, iron, and fold linens from guest rooms and restaurant/catering areas.
Keep the laundry area and property common areas clean and organized.
Clean housekeeping and maintenance staff restrooms daily.
Use equipment and chemicals properly and follow appropriate safety procedures.
Assist housemen and housekeepers as necessary.
Help maintain a safe work environment.
Respond to other team members in a friendly and helpful manner.
