About The Position

The Laundry Attendant is part of the resort’s Housekeeping team and helps create a memorable guest experience by preparing and maintaining guest linens. The role supports the cleanliness of the hotel and provides essential services that help guests enjoy their stay.

Responsibilities include engaging with guests, completing laundry duties for guest-room and restaurant/catering linens, keeping laundry and common areas clean and organized, and cleaning housekeeping and maintenance staff restrooms daily. The attendant also uses equipment and chemicals appropriately, follows safety procedures, assists housemen and housekeepers as needed, and helps maintain a safe work environment.

Requirements

• Neat appearance and pleasant personality.
• Time management skills.
• Ability to work on foot for an extended period.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to move, traverse, and position oneself to reach floor corners and high places; observe conditions and detect odors; and position and navigate carts weighing up to 100 pounds in tight spaces.
• Ability to operate equipment including spray bottles, vacuums, mops, brooms, dust pans, scrub pads, and dusters.
• Ability to lift, carry, and position loads of at least 25 pounds.
