About The Position

This position provides linen delivery and pickup services for the Housekeeping Department while maintaining Omni standards and exceeding guest expectations. The Laundry Attendant collects dirty linen from housekeeping service landings and delivers it to the laundry, then distributes clean linen to service landings. The role also assists with stocking guest supplies and amenities, operates laundry equipment, and maintains a clean, organized department while following safety and sanitization regulations.

Requirements

Ability to communicate clearly and pleasantly in English with guests, management, and coworkers, in person and by two-way radio.
Ability to multitask in a busy environment, follow through on guest and manager requests, and work as a team player.
Detail-oriented, with a friendly and approachable demeanor and a high standard for cleanliness and organization.
Ability to stand or walk for an extended period or an entire work shift.
Ability to bend frequently, reach overhead, and squat.
Ability to lift, carry, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
Ability to push or pull objects weighing up to 75 pounds without assistance.
Ability to push and pull fully stocked housekeeping supply carts and carts full of linens.
Ability to work around a variety of chemicals and respond to hazardous situations.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, specifically evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

Environmental services experience, preferably in hotel housekeeping.

Responsibilities

Pick up dirty linen from Housekeeping Service Landings and deliver it to the laundry.
Collect clean linen from the laundry and distribute it to service landings.
Assist with stocking guest supplies and amenities.
Report maintenance concerns to Managers and/or Supervisors.
Ensure linen is clean and tidy at all times.
Complete additional duties assigned by Managers and/or Supervisors.
Operate washers, dryers, ironers, and towel folders.
Stack clean items in laundry bins or trucks for delivery to guest room floors or Food & Beverage areas.
Operate smaller washers and dryers to process specialty items or guest requests.
Maintain department cleanliness and organization.
Follow safety and sanitization regulations as instructed by OSHA and Omni Hotels & Resorts.
