About The Position

The Laundry and Linen Aide cleans resident rooms and other interior and exterior community areas, provides efficient laundry delivery services, and helps maintain a positive physical environment for residents under the direction of the supervisor. The aide follows health, sanitary, and infection-control policies and maintains standards of practice set by the community’s administration and Housekeeping Policies and Procedures. This is a full-time position in a skilled nursing facility in Nashville, North Carolina, with an available shift from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Requirements

Currently enrolled in a high school program, or have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Must have related experience at a level necessary to accomplish the job.

Responsibilities

Clean resident rooms and other interior and exterior community areas.
Provide efficient laundry delivery services.
Assist in maintaining a positive physical environment for residents.
Follow health, sanitary, and infection-control policies.
Maintain standards of practice established by the community’s administration and Housekeeping Policies and Procedures.
