Laundry and Linen Aide
About The Position
The Laundry and Linen Aide cleans resident rooms and other interior and exterior community areas, provides efficient laundry delivery services, and helps maintain a positive physical environment for residents under the direction of the supervisor. The role follows health, sanitary, and infection-control policies and established standards of practice set by the community’s administration and Housekeeping Policies and Procedures. This full-time position is at Hillsville Health & Rehab Center in Hillsville, Virginia. The available shift is 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and pay is $13.00 to $15.00 per hour.
Requirements
- Must be currently enrolled in a high school program or have a high school diploma or equivalent; guidance and resources to help earn a GED may be provided.
- Must have related experience at a level necessary to accomplish the job.
Responsibilities
- Clean resident rooms and other interior and exterior community areas.
- Provide efficient laundry delivery services.
- Assist in maintaining a positive physical environment for residents.
- Follow health, sanitary, and infection-control policies and established community standards and housekeeping procedures.
