About The Position
The Laundry and Linen Aide cleans resident rooms and other interior and exterior community areas, provides efficient laundry delivery services, and helps maintain a positive physical environment for residents under the supervisor’s direction. The role follows health, sanitation, and infection-control policies and the standards established by the community’s administration and Housekeeping Policies and Procedures. This is a part-time position at Dockside Health & Rehab Center in Locust Hill, Virginia, with a stated shift of 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and a wage of $14.50 per hour.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a high school program or have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Related experience at a level necessary to accomplish the job.
Responsibilities
- Clean resident rooms and other interior and exterior community areas.
- Provide efficient laundry delivery services.
- Help maintain a positive physical environment for residents.
- Follow health, sanitation, and infection-control policies and established standards of practice.
