About The Position

Coulee Medical Center’s Laundry Aide supports patient care and infection-control goals by ensuring a clean and sanitary supply of linens and personal laundry for long-term-care residents. The position cleans and services linens and laundry, moves supplies in and around the department, and keeps work areas organized and clutter-free.

Laundry Aides are expected to understand the potential hazards of cleaning compounds, use these materials properly, and prevent cross-contamination of linens. The role advocates for infection control and serves as a point of reference for safety, performing duties in accordance with infection-control standards and departmental procedures. The position supports the Laundry team in a manner consistent with Coulee Medical Center’s Mission and Vision.

Requirements

• Current and valid Washington State driver’s license required.

Nice To Haves

• Prior institutional laundry experience preferred.
• Light truck driving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service linens and laundry.
• Move supplies in and around the department.
• Keep work areas organized and clutter-free.
• Use cleaning compounds properly while understanding their potential hazards.
• Prevent cross-contamination of linens.
• Perform duties according to infection-control standards and departmental procedures.
