About The Position

The Laundry Aide supports clean, comfortable, and hygienic living conditions for residents by cleaning and distributing resident and facility linens and clothing. The role uses household and industrial laundry equipment and requires reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The Laundry Aide also keeps laundry areas and equipment clean and in good working condition, uses approved detergents and chemicals safely, and handles residents’ clothing with care.

Responsibilities

Wash and dry resident and facility linens and clothing using household and industrial laundry equipment.
Fold and stack linens neatly and ensure proper storage and distribution.
Deliver clean linens and laundry promptly to resident rooms and facility areas.
Keep laundry areas and equipment clean and in good working condition.
Use approved laundry detergents and chemicals according to safety guidelines.
Deliver clothing directly to residents’ rooms and handle items with care.
