About The Position

Silverado is hiring a Laundry Aide to help maintain a clean, comfortable, and dignified environment for residents in its memory care community. The role involves collecting, cleaning, and sorting laundry; ensuring resident garments and linens are handled properly; supporting department and community goals; and maintaining a safe and sanitary environment. The position is full-time on the AM shift, Sunday through Thursday, from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Comfort working around animals and pets.
• Willingness to work with individuals with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.
• Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards.
• Able to perform active work involving walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma, GED, or educational equivalent preferred.
