About The Position

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
Ability to safely lift, carry, sort, and process laundry throughout the workday
Strong organizational and time management skills
Good communication and customer service abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and resident-centered environment
Positive attitude and strong attention to detail

Nice To Haves

6 months of housekeeping experience preferred

Responsibilities

Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, hang, and distribute resident clothing, linens, and facility laundry
Ensure an adequate supply of clean linens is available and distributed to departments throughout the facility
Label and process resident personal clothing and return clean items to appropriate rooms and storage areas
Operate laundry equipment safely and maintain proper chemical supplies for laundry operations
Weigh, track, and process laundry according to facility procedures and sanitation standards
Maintain a clean and organized work area and complete assigned cleaning tasks
Report equipment issues, maintenance concerns, and safety hazards promptly
Follow HIPAA, infection control, safety, and facility policies and procedures
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and perform additional duties as assigned
