About The Position
The Laundry Aide works at Main Street Care Center in Avon Lake, Ohio. Sprenger Health Care is a third-generation developer, owner, and operator of senior living communities and services in Ohio and South Carolina, providing nursing care, assisted and independent living, memory care, hospice, home care, respite care, and short-term post-acute rehabilitation. The position maintains an adequate supply of clean garments and linens, handles them properly to help prevent the spread of infection, and assists with housekeeping duties. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a steady work pace to produce an adequate supply of clean garments and linens.
- Prevent the spread of infection through proper handling, storage, washing, and transporting of garments and linens.
- Hang, fold, and stack garments and linens.
- Sort and distribute clothes to residents’ rooms.
- Clean and maintain the laundry room in an orderly fashion.
- Assist with housekeeping duties.
