About The Position
CareOne at Newton is hiring a Laundry Aide in Newton, Massachusetts. The Laundry Aide gathers and prepares soiled linens for processing, handles washing and drying, and sorts and folds linens. All shifts are available. The role is offered full-time with benefits, part-time with benefits, and per diem. The listed pay range is $17.50–$18.50; compensation may depend on experience, qualifications, credentials, employment status, and work schedule. A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Responsibilities
- Gather soiled linens to prepare them for sorting.
- Pre-sort soiled linens.
- Pre-wash and rinse soiled linens as required.
- Load and unload washers and dryers.
- Sort and fold linens.
