About The Position

The Launch Program Assembly & Finishing Specialist hand-produces custom printed prototype packaging for Belmark’s Launch Program. The role transforms printed flat materials into finished packaging for customer displays, presentations, photoshoots, and other pre-market needs. It requires interpreting packaging templates and dielines, then folding, forming, assembling, and finishing components to meet customer requirements and program standards. The specialist works with craftsmanship, attention to detail, and efficiency in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Launch projects may involve short timelines, multiple components, and changing tasks. The position collaborates with the Launch team to complete customer orders on time and produce display-quality prototypes that meet customer expectations and Belmark’s quality standards.

Requirements

Ability to effectively write, speak, and read English.
Proficiency operating computers and standard office equipment, with working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite programs.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers, decimals, and fractions.
Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written and oral instructions.

Ability to stand and walk for 90% of work time; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl for 10%; use hands for 100%; reach above shoulders for 50%; and use feet to operate machines for 30%.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds for 20% of work time; may lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

Represent Belmark and its culture fairly and ethically, and understand, promote, and represent its Mission Statement, Purpose, and Principles.
Follow required safety procedures and support food safety culture by adhering to Safe Quality Foods requirements.
Hand-produce prototype packaging by folding, forming, assembling, and finishing printed materials with designated equipment and tools.
Interpret flexible packaging templates and folding carton dielines for accurate construction and visual quality.
Use designated equipment and tools to support assembly, finishing, and production.
Collaborate with Production Specialists, Graphics team members, and Account Specialists to execute projects and meet due dates.
Manage multiple projects while adapting to shifting priorities and tight timelines.
Package and ship completed Launch orders on time and according to customer specifications.
Monitor quality throughout assembly and finishing, and meet or exceed departmental quality and productivity standards.
Maintain a working understanding of business unit printing requirements to accurately interpret templates and dielines.
Participate in continuous learning and adapt to new or updated operating applications and best practices.
Address and manage customer complaints, communicating clearly and promptly about resolutions as needed.
Learn new skills as needed.
Travel occasionally to support customer accounts, attend or exhibit at tradeshows, or pursue professional development.
Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
