Requirements

3+ years of experience in project management (experience is commensurate with skill, exceptions can be made).
Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Kanban and Scrum).
Collaborative and caring attitude with clients, viewing their success as your own.
Proficiency in risk management, with plans that excel at resolving risk.
Experience planning projects for business-to-business software and custom applications.
Ability to craft clear and concise user stories and acceptance criteria, and test them effectively.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Technical Proficiency: Owns on-time, on-budget delivery for complex projects.
Develop Collaboratively: Participate in successful Agile delivery by seeking guidance, raising concerns, advancing best practices, identifying blockers, and mentoring peers and more junior team members.
Define Value: Gather requirements and write thorough and testable acceptance criteria for complex projects 1-2 sprints ahead, leveraging AI tools increase clarity and effectiveness.
Product Expert: Become an expert in the desired functionality and expected behavior of client products and software.
Manage Risks: Document plan, status, risks, and progress to ensure on-time/budget and adherence to the terms of the SoW.
Ensure Collaboration: Manage workspaces, schedules, and communication so that the team can do its best work.

Responsibilities

Communicate clearly and set the tone for team collaboration.
Create a common goal by getting everyone on the same page regarding project scope, budget, and timeline.
Drive project success by clearly defining acceptance criteria and project objectives.
Act as the team leader of a project, working with minimal oversight and direction.
Establish and maintain a steady stream of communication with clients, anticipating their needs.
Create accountability for both the client and the team, ensuring clarity on tasks and deadlines.
Share vision and knowledge gained from projects to foster collective improvement.
Own on-time, on-budget delivery for complex projects.
Facilitate scrums, manage risks and dependencies.
Mentor junior PMO team members.
Ensure clients and teams are aligned.
