About The Position

Lantech is hiring a Laser & Brake Operator to produce high-quality components that support machine builds. The role involves operating CNC laser and brake equipment, a drill press, and other hand and power tools; interpreting machining prints and part drawings; and routing materials through the shop to support production flow. The operator uses measuring tools to ensure accuracy, follows standardized work instructions and quality standards, and collaborates with team members to complete work efficiently and on schedule.

This is a second-shift position, Monday through Thursday, from 3:15 p.m. to 1:45 a.m., paying $21.50 per hour. The role requires standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 pounds. Forklift operation may be needed to move materials.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience operating CNC lasers, brakes, and drill presses in a sheet metal environment.
• Ability to read and interpret prints and drawings.
• Ability to read a tape measure and use dial or digital calipers.
• Forklift experience.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to complete tasks within established timeframes.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Good attendance and reliability.
• Detail-oriented, with a strong commitment to quality and production schedules.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities
