About The Position

Operates a straightener and balancer for H wheels and assembles K wheels. The role also includes operating a truer, handling materials, packaging wheels for external customers, and reporting problems to a Supervisor. Heavy lifting is required.

Requirements

• Ability to perform heavy lifting.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate the balancer for H and K wheels.
• Set up and operate the truer for H and K wheels.
• Assemble hub flanges to H wheels.
• Assemble K wheels using a riveter machine.
• Perform material-handling activities and load and unload material using manual material-handling equipment.
• Package wheels for external customers.
• Use hoists where appropriate.
• Report problems to the Supervisor.
