About The Position

Leidos seeks a Large Industrial Energy Advisor to market and support energy-efficiency projects for the Ameren Illinois Energy Efficiency business program. The role directly engages large industrial customers—including manufacturers, warehouses, and organizations supporting facility energy systems—to promote and coordinate utility-sponsored energy-efficiency services. The Advisor manages the existing market segment with energy savings as the primary focus and works across application screening, industry relations, program execution, presentations, promotional events, market analysis, and program development. The role works with industrial customers, contractors, suppliers, engineers, facility owners, architects, and project managers to support energy-efficiency practices and understand energy conservation and decarbonization goals. Responsibilities also include managing a high-volume project portfolio, performing energy simulation analyses, preparing reports and design recommendations, and communicating results to technical and non-technical audiences. The position is remote, with a strong preference for candidates living within Ameren Illinois's service territory. It requires up to 40–60% travel, usually day trips two to three days per week, and occasional overnight travel for conferences or seminars. The Energy Advisor reports to the Business Program Manager. Leidos is the employer; Ameren Illinois does not select or manage the employee.
