About The Position

PADNOS is a full-service recycling company serving consumer and industrial clients throughout the United States. The Large Equipment Operator supports daily yard operations by safely operating heavy equipment to move, load, unload, and prepare materials. Equipment may include switch trucks, hydraulic cranes, mobile cranes, loaders, and trac-mobiles. The operator is expected to demonstrate PADNOS company values and help maintain a safe and efficient work environment.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, with weekends as needed, from 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. A valid driver’s license is required. The position involves outdoor work and may include hand-sorting materials.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license.
• At least six months of experience operating large equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Demonstrated customer service skills.
• Safety-oriented, with a commitment to safe work practices.
• Comfort working in an outdoor environment.
• Ability to work independently and remain self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment to load and unload incoming and outgoing trucks or railcars and move materials to designated areas.
• Maintain basic production, inventory, shipment, and equipment maintenance records as required.
• Identify and distinguish between different grades and types of materials.
• Inspect incoming and outgoing loads and assist with material grading when applicable.
• Assist with hand-sorting materials as needed to support yard operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
