This position involves cleaning and maintenance of patient care and holding areas and equipment, preparing and sanitizing hospital facilities, and stocking and monitoring supplies. The individual will also assist with feeding, exercising, grooming, restraint, and handling of large animal patients, primarily horses, for examinations and diagnostic procedures. A key responsibility includes assisting with the anesthetic induction and recovery of large animal patients for surgery and other procedures such as MRI, CT, and Radiology, as well as maintaining anesthetic induction/recovery suites and associated equipment. The role requires genuine care for people and animals, an outgoing and enthusiastic demeanor, and a positive attitude. This is a full-time, benefited position considered essential personnel and requires a post-offer health assessment.
