About The Position

Bison Group LLC is a people-focused small business and defense contractor supporting Department of Defense and national security objectives. The Mid-Level Language-Enabled OSINT Collector conducts open-source intelligence collection using MAS and OSINT tools on foreign sources, creates collection plans, drafts Open Source Intelligence Reports (OSIRs), and supports OSINT analytic production. The role also contributes to OSIR quality reviews and provides language-based insights and expertise, ensuring reporting meets Defense Intelligence requirements.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in an area related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
Intelligence Community experience.
At least 8 years of experience conducting OSINT collection, research, analysis, and reporting, with at least a portion of that experience within the last 2 years.
Language-enabled in Chinese or Mandarin.
Must be able to pass within 12 months and maintain an ILR or DLTP language certification test; the typical standard for mids is 2,2,1.
English comprehension at ILR level 3 or higher in reading and listening, and level 3 or higher in writing.
Non-native contract staff must pass an English competency test, such as the TOEFL.
Active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance before starting.

Responsibilities

Conduct OSINT collection using MAS and OSINT tools on foreign sources to identify patterns and provide intelligence requirements.
Create collection plans, draft Open Source Intelligence Reports (OSIRs), and support OSINT analytic production requirements.
Contribute to OSIR quality reviews and provide language-based insights and expertise.
Ensure all reporting meets Defense Intelligence requirements.
