About The Position

Denver International Airport (DEN) is seeking a Landside Operations Officer to join its Commercial Transportation Team. This role involves being the public face of the Transportation team, assisting customers, patrolling areas like curbs and islands, and working in the commercial vehicle holding lot. Requirements

  • Graduation from high school or the possession of a GED, HiSET, or TASC Certificate.
  • Four (4) years of experience of the type and at the level of Aviation Operations Representative, Landside Operations Service Agent, or equivalent role within an aviation environment.
  • Valid Driver’s License at the time of application.
  • FBI criminal background check is required.
  • Basic computer, writing and documentation skills.
  • Comfortable working on feet for extended periods and performing tasks outdoors in all Colorado weather conditions, including heat, cold, wind, and rapidly changing environments.
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of the ground transportation and parking industry.
  • At least one year of experience in a regulated environment or Aviation setting.
  • Exceptional customer service and flexibility.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor contract compliance of commercial ground transportation operators ensuring contractual terms of service are fulfilled
  • Patrol airport roadways at the terminal and surrounding areas to include the Hotel Transit Center (HTC)
  • Assist passengers in securing ground transportation services
  • Inspect condition of facilities and construction areas
  • Ensure the safe and efficient movement of commercial vehicle traffic and passengers
  • Respond to traffic problems, accidents, security incidents and emergencies on level 5, commercial vehicle holding lot and surrounding roadways near the terminal.
  • Inform, educate and enforce Part 100, Part 90 and other relevant airport rules and regulations
