Landscaping Supervisor
About The Position
Monarch is hiring a full-time, year-round Landscaping Supervisor to oversee and perform landscaping and exterior property maintenance across six apartment communities it owns and manages in the Muskegon, Michigan area. This is an onsite, hands-on role for an experienced landscaping professional who can work independently and take pride in maintaining clean, attractive communities. Duties include seasonal groundskeeping and snow removal, including operating a truck equipped with a snow plow. The position pays $25.00–$26.00 per hour and offers overtime potential based on operational needs.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of professional landscaping experience.
- Previous snow plowing experience using a truck-mounted plow.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Experience operating zero-turn lawn mowers and other landscaping equipment.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and handle physically demanding tasks.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and perform routine landscaping and grounds maintenance across six apartment communities.
- Operate commercial mowing equipment and maintain lawns and landscaped areas.
- Complete spring and fall cleanups, including leaf removal, trimming, and seasonal preparation.
- Operate a truck equipped with a snow plow to support winter snow removal operations.
- Perform seasonal groundskeeping, snow removal, and other year-round exterior maintenance duties as needed.
- Monitor property conditions and help ensure all six communities meet Monarch's standards for curb appeal and resident satisfaction.
