About The Position

The Landscaper performs landscaping services for an assigned area and helps maintain attractive outdoor environments for guests and visitors. The role maintains flower gardens, trees, and lawns; keeps sprinkler systems operational; and supports maintenance of reservation facilities as assigned by a Supervisor or Manager. Duties may be added, deleted, or changed at Sycuan Management’s discretion.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of landscaping experience.
• A driver’s license in good standing.
• Ability to understand and follow written directions and verbal directives.
• Ability to use trade tools.
• Ability to stand and walk for up to eight hours at a time.
• Ability to crouch, bend, and stoop.
• Ability to grasp and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to appear for work on time.
• Ability to accept constructive criticism.
• Ability to maintain professionalism and composure.

Nice To Haves

• Facilities maintenance experience.
• Landscaping experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain flower gardens, trees, and lawns by planting flowers, shrubs, and trees; watering and pruning plants and trees; and applying fertilizer as needed.
• Routinely inspect sprinkler systems and repair or replace broken or missing parts; report issues requiring further attention.
• Maintain a safe work area by following established safety standards while using tools, performing equipment repairs, and cleaning work areas.
• Assist with maintenance of reservation facilities by performing other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Manager.
