About The Position
Phoenix Country Club in Phoenix, Arizona is hiring a full-time Landscaper. The position is part of a fast-paced, hospitality-focused property organization and offers the opportunity to contribute and grow within Troon, a global golf and community management company. Compensation is $25.00 per hour. The Landscaper prepares and maintains planting beds and lawn areas, plants and cares for trees, shrubs, turf grass, and flowers, and operates mechanical landscaping equipment and utility vehicles. The role also involves keeping the landscape clean, applying mulch, water, and fertilizer, following safe work practices, and performing other duties as required.
Requirements
- One month of related experience or training.
- Valid driver's license.
- Regular and reliable attendance.
- Availability to work weekends.
- Pass a drug screening test.
Responsibilities
- Prepare soil for planting beds and lawn areas.
- Operate mechanical equipment such as mowers, weed trimmers, and utility vehicles.
- Plant trees, shrubs, turf grass, and flowers.
- Prune and trim trees and shrubs.
- Remove trash and clean up debris to maintain a clean landscape environment.
- Maintain landscapes through the application of mulch, water, and fertilizer, and through grooming.
- Incorporate safe work practices into job performance.
- Perform other duties as required.
