About The Position

The Landscape Operations Manager owns daily field operations, crew leadership, and quality delivery across a dedicated portfolio of commercial properties. This is a hands-on field leadership role focused on empowering crews, maintaining quality, and supporting customer satisfaction. The manager partners closely with the Branch Manager and works with Property Managers to resolve operational issues and identify landscape enhancement opportunities.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of commercial landscape maintenance experience, or an Associate degree with equivalent field leadership experience.
• Active North Carolina Pesticide Applicator License, or ability to transfer one.
• Valid Driver’s License with a driving record that meets company standards.
• Demonstrated crew supervision or leadership experience.
• Experience managing daily routes and tracking inventory and equipment.
• Strong communication skills and aptitude for client relationship management and enhancement proposals.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, hire, train, and mentor Foremen and crew members.
• Champion equipment standards and field safety protocols.
• Schedule and route crews to optimize labor, equipment usage, and budget targets.
• Meet regularly with Property Managers to review Quality Control reports, resolve work orders, and drive landscape enhancement sales.
• Oversee truck inspections, equipment upkeep, inventory control, and chemical spot treatments across the portfolio.
• Open the operations shop daily, track attendance, and lead productive, safety-focused team meetings.
