About The Position
GroundSystems, a locally owned commercial landscaping company serving the Cincinnati, Ohio area, is hiring Landscape Crew Members for year-round, full-time work. The company provides paid, hands-on training, necessary equipment, and opportunities for career advancement. Landscaping experience is not required. Drivers and non-drivers are welcome, and no CDL is required. Qualified team members may drive company trucks and trailers to job sites; driving positions require a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Be eligible to work in the U.S.
- Be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Be comfortable working outdoors in changing weather conditions.
- Have basic English communication skills.
- Have a positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to work as part of a team.
- For driving positions, be at least 20 years old and have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
Nice To Haves
- Landscaping experience is welcome but not required.
- Interest in driving is welcome; no CDL is required.
Responsibilities
- Mow, edge, and trim lawns.
- Plant flowers, shrubs, and trees.
- Prune and maintain landscape beds.
- Lay sod and apply fertilizers.
- Operate and care for landscaping tools and power equipment.
- Keep work areas clean and safe.
- Help with snow and ice management during winter.
- For qualified team members in driving positions, drive company trucks and trailers to job sites.
