About The Position

GroundSystems, a locally owned commercial landscaping company serving the Dayton, Ohio area, is hiring a full-time Landscape Crew Member for year-round work. No landscaping experience is required; the company provides paid, hands-on training and the equipment needed. The role helps create and maintain attractive, healthy landscapes for commercial clients, with winter snow and ice management duties. Qualified team members may also drive company trucks and trailers to job sites; no CDL is required. The company offers opportunities for career advancement.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Be eligible to work in the U.S.
• Be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Be comfortable working outdoors in changing weather conditions.
• Have basic English communication skills.
• Demonstrate a positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to work as part of a team.
• For driving positions, be at least 20 years old and have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Nice To Haves

• Landscaping experience is welcome but not required.
• Interest or qualifications for driving company trucks and trailers; no CDL is required.

Responsibilities

• Mow, edge, and trim lawns.
• Plant flowers, shrubs, and trees.
• Prune and maintain landscape beds.
• Lay sod and apply fertilizers.
• Operate and care for landscaping tools and power equipment.
• Keep work areas clean and safe.
• Help with snow and ice management during winter.
• For qualified team members in driving positions, drive company trucks and trailers to job sites.
