Landscape Crew Member
About The Position
GroundSystems, a locally owned commercial landscaping company serving the Cincinnati, Ohio area, is hiring Landscape Crew Members for year-round, full-time work. The company welcomes applicants with or without landscaping experience and provides paid, hands-on training, necessary equipment, and opportunities for career advancement. Drivers and non-drivers are welcome; no CDL is required. Crew members help create and maintain attractive, healthy landscapes for commercial clients. Qualified team members may also drive company trucks and trailers to job sites. Driving positions require a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Be eligible to work in the U.S.
- Be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Be comfortable working outdoors in changing weather conditions.
- Have basic English communication skills.
- Have a positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to work as part of a team.
- For driving positions, be at least 20 years old and have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
Responsibilities
- Mow, edge, and trim lawns.
- Plant flowers, shrubs, and trees.
- Prune and maintain landscape beds.
- Lay sod and apply fertilizers.
- Operate and care for landscaping tools and power equipment.
- Keep work areas clean and safe.
- Help with snow and ice management during winter.
- For qualified team members in driving positions, drive company trucks and trailers to job sites.
