About The Position

GroundSystems is hiring a hands-on Landscape Crew Leader to manage and mentor a landscaping crew in Northern Kentucky. The role combines fieldwork and leadership across enhancement projects, with responsibility for high-quality service, efficient workflows, and team success. The Crew Leader oversees a crew of 1–4 members, leads by example, and works outdoors performing and guiding landscaping tasks. The position offers year-round, full-time employment, training, and opportunities for career growth.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record; a CDL is not required.
• At least 20 years old.
• Eligible to work in the U.S.
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather.
• Basic English communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and safety.
• Must use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Nice To Haves

• Previous landscaping or groundskeeping experience.
• Familiarity with hand saws, pruners, mowers, weed eaters, and blowers.
• Experience supervising a small team or crew.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily landscaping operations.
• Ensure quality control and project standards.
• Train and supervise crew members.
• Perform and guide mowing, pruning, planting, and general groundskeeping.
• Maintain perennial beds.
• Operate and maintain equipment.
• Maintain a safe, efficient worksite.
• Operate trucks, trailers, and landscaping equipment.
