About The Position

JBK Landscapes has an immediate opening for a full-time Commercial Crew Leader in Aurora, Colorado. The company is seeking a dependable, hardworking person interested in growing a career in the landscaping industry and willing to work during all seasons. The Crew Leader oversees a crew of landscapers and performs commercial landscape maintenance and related work. Compensation starts at $20–$22 per hour or more, depending on experience.

Requirements

At least 2 years of commercial landscape maintenance experience.
At least 3 years of experience as a foreman or crew leader in commercial landscaping.
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record for at least 3 years.
Familiarity with and ability to operate a dump truck, truck with trailer, backpack blower, tiller, chainsaw, hand pruners, pole pruners, gas-powered shears, and related equipment.
Ability to work outdoors in any environment, walk for long periods, and regularly lift objects weighing 50–80 pounds.
Use of personal protective equipment is required on all job sites.
Reliable transportation to work daily.
Dependability and willingness to work during all seasons.

Responsibilities

Oversee a crew of landscapers.
Perform commercial landscape maintenance and related landscaping work.
Operate landscape vehicles and equipment, including a dump truck, a truck with trailer, backpack blower, tiller, chainsaw, hand pruners, pole pruners, and gas-powered shears.
Use knowledge of mowers, blowers, landscaping equipment, and plant care.
Work with enhancement installation, seasonal color, and plant materials.
