About The Position

Join the team during peak season to help transform outdoor spaces into finished landscapes. This temporary, hourly, non-exempt, contract-based role involves active outdoor work alongside a crew and completing daily landscape installation tasks. The contract runs from November through December 2026, with potential for extension into full-time employment. The schedule is Monday through Friday, starting at 6:30 a.m. and continuing until daily tasks are complete. Compensation depends on skills and industry expertise and will be discussed during interviews. The role does not include the company’s comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off or health care coverage.

Requirements

• Have the strength, stamina, and mobility to perform intense physical work, lift and carry up to 80 pounds, and work outdoors throughout the day in varied weather conditions.
• Be able to access and navigate the bulk yard, loading areas, office space, and other facility areas.
• Be punctual and have a collaborative attitude and strong communication skills to meet daily project goals with crew members.
• Have reliable transportation for on-time arrival at the shop Monday through Friday.
• Be able to pass standard pre-employment screenings.
• Be at least 18 years old at the time of application.

Responsibilities

• Haul, spread, and level soil, mulch, and aggregates across designated areas.
• Plant flowers, trees, and shrubs, and lay sod according to design plans.
• Assist in constructing retaining walls, pathways, patios, steps, and other hardscape elements.
• Safely operate power equipment and hand tools while following OSHA regulations and company safety standards.
