About The Position

Father Nature Landscapes is hiring a temporary, hourly, non-exempt, contract-based Landscape Construction Worker for its peak season. The role involves active outdoor work transforming outdoor spaces through landscape material distribution, softscape installation, and hardscape construction. Workers use power equipment and hand tools while following OSHA regulations and company safety standards. The schedule is Monday through Friday, from 6:30 a.m. until daily tasks are completed. The contract is expected to run from November through December 2026, with potential for extension into full-time employment. Compensation is based on skills and industry expertise; the hourly rate will be discussed during interviews. Due to the temporary nature of the role, the company does not offer its comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off or health care coverage. The position reports to the Installation Crew Leader.

Requirements

• Have the strength, stamina, and mobility to perform intense physical work, lift and carry up to 80 pounds, and work outdoors all day in various weather conditions.
• Be able to access and navigate the bulk yard, loading areas, office space, and other facility areas.
• Be punctual and have a collaborative attitude and strong communication skills to achieve daily project goals with crew members.
• Have reliable transportation to arrive on time at the shop Monday through Friday.
• Be able to pass standard pre-employment screenings.
• Be at least 18 years old at the time of application.

Responsibilities

• Haul, spread, and level soil, mulch, and various aggregates across designated zones.
• Plant flowers, trees, and shrubs, and lay sod according to design plans.
• Assist in building retaining walls, pathways, patios, steps, and other hardscape elements.
• Operate power equipment and hand tools safely, following OSHA regulations and company safety standards.
