About The Position
The Landscape Construction Lead directs daily operations and leads a landscape construction crew at active job sites. This is a hands-on working leadership role that includes directing crew members on assigned project tasks, performing landscape installation and maintenance work, managing irrigation systems, and ensuring safe equipment operation and high-quality project results. The role is based at the Greensboro Branch in Greensboro, North Carolina, and is scheduled Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of commercial landscaping, sod installation, irrigation, or supervisory experience.
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds repetitively.
- Ability to work outdoors in active environments.
- Strong communication skills, a team-first leadership style, and a goal-driven work ethic.
Responsibilities
- Direct crew members in completing project tasks assigned by the foreman and manager.
- Perform hands-on landscape installation work, including planting sod and mulching, as well as routine mowing.
- Manage site irrigation systems and apply sprays as needed to support plant health.
- Ensure equipment is operated safely and project quality remains high.
