Landscape Architecture Analyst
About The Position
Kimley-Horn is seeking Landscape Architecture graduates to join their Fort Collins, Colorado (CO) office in 2027. This is an on-site position where Analysts will utilize technical software programs to analyze, produce, and quality control deliverables for clients. Responsibilities include contributing to site planning, urban and landscape design, and graphic and technical production for a variety of projects such as land planning, urban design and redevelopment, mixed-use and residential development, streetscapes, design guidelines, public infrastructure design, parks, and community facilities. Analysts will also solve complex problems, assist project managers, collaborate across disciplines, and develop familiarity with relevant regulations and company standards. Analysts will learn to use software including Adobe Photoshop, Sketchup, InDesign, Illustrator, GIS/Arcview, PowerPoint, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Excel.
Requirements
- A Degree in Landscape Architecture (Bachelors or Masters) by Summer 2027.
Nice To Haves
- Analysts will learn one or more software programs: Adobe Photoshop, Sketchup, InDesign, Illustrator, GIS/Arcview, and PowerPoint, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and/or Excel.
Responsibilities
- Utilize technical software programs on a regular basis to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables for our clients.
- Contribute to the site planning, urban and landscape design, and graphic and technical production.
- Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to produce our clients’ visions for the future built environment.
- Develop familiarity with the federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Kimley-Horn’s and our client’s practices, procedures, and standards.
