About The Position

Kimley-Horn is seeking Landscape Architecture graduates to join their Seattle, Washington (WA) office. This is an on-site position. The role involves utilizing technical software to analyze, produce, and quality control client deliverables. Responsibilities include contributing to site planning, urban and landscape design, and graphic/technical production for a variety of projects such as land planning, urban design and redevelopment, mixed-use and residential developments, streetscapes, design guidelines, public infrastructure, parks, and community facilities. The position requires problem-solving, assisting project managers, and collaborating across disciplines. Analysts will develop familiarity with relevant regulations and company standards, and learn to use software like Adobe Photoshop, Sketchup, InDesign, Illustrator, GIS/Arcview, PowerPoint, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Excel.

Requirements

  • A Degree in Landscape Architecture (Bachelors or Masters) by Summer 2027.

Nice To Haves

  • Analysts will learn one or more software programs: Adobe Photoshop, Sketchup, InDesign, Illustrator, GIS/Arcview, and PowerPoint, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and/or Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize technical software programs on a regular basis to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables for our clients.
  • Contribute to the site planning, urban and landscape design, and graphic and technical production.
  • Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to produce our clients’ visions for the future built environment.
  • Develop familiarity with the federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Kimley-Horn’s and our client’s practices, procedures, and standards.
