About The Position

We are seeking a driven Landowner Liaison II to join our enterprise team (non-transmission)! In this role you’ll lead negotiations and execution of easements, encroachments, and licenses, and Letters of No Objection, while serving as the LCRA face, to landowners. You’ll work across a diverse group of stakeholders to gather information, secure property rights, and prepare board-ready materials to help support key business decisions This is a highly visible role that blends relationship management, research, and negotiation, with strong opportunities to build advanced skills and elevate your career journey.

Requirements

Six or more years of experience in real estate negotiations, appraisal, land acquisition, title research, landowner relations, contract negotiation or utility infrastructure project coordination or other relevant experience.
A degree(s) in real estate, project management, business, law, engineering, environmental science, geographic information systems or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.
Driver's license

Responsibilities

Notify landowners in writing of upcoming LCRA project activity and property access needs.
Address landowner concerns by interpreting LCRA easement rights, coordinating with the transmission line team, negotiating solutions with landowners regarding miscellaneous requests such as LCRA's help with services including but not limited to building a road, moving, a transmission line, etc.
Lead negotiations for real estate transactions, including purchases, sales, leases and easements.
Research and resolve title issues to support smooth closings.
Review documents and prepare contracts and agreements for the acquisition or disposal of easements for LCRA owned property.
Use GIS tools to provide mapping support and ensure accurate, accessible, real estate data.
