About The Position

The Lakehouse Food Runner works at The Lakehouse, a lakeside restaurant at Four Seasons Resort Orlando that serves fresh seafood, wood-grilled dishes, and salads inspired by local ingredients and sustainable sourcing. The role supports restaurant service by delivering food and beverages to guests, describing menu items, answering questions, coordinating order modifications with the culinary team, clearing dishes, and helping prepare and clean the dining room.

Requirements

• Strong food knowledge.
• At least 1–2 years of food and beverage experience.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work with a large team.
• Sincere willingness to provide service to residents, guests, and peers.
• Ability to function under pressure, set priorities, and adjust to changing conditions.
• High work ethic and a sense of responsibility for one's role on the team.
• Fluency in English.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Flexible schedule and availability to work weekends and holidays.
• Availability for at least three days.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner.
• Describe menu items confidently as they are delivered to guests.
• Answer guest questions about service and the restaurant menu.
• Work with the culinary team to ensure order modifications are correct.
• Clear dirty dishes between courses.
• Assist with dining room cleanup, setup, and breakdown.
