About The Position

BAYADA Home Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for an on-call role performing emergency night home health visits for adult and geriatric clients in Ocean County, New Jersey. The position serves clients on a per-visit basis. The rotating schedule is one week on and one week off, from Wednesday through Tuesday, with on-call coverage from 5:00 p.m. to 8:30 a.m. The role provides full-time compensation and benefits while requiring work for 26 weeks of the year. Pay is $57.00–$62.00 per point, depending on qualifications and status, and subject to negotiation. The RN makes home visits after business hours and on weekend days and evenings; provides medication administration, wound care, treatments, procedures, and comfort care; monitors clients and reports changes; follows and documents physicians’ orders; and performs client assessments as needed. Requirements

Hold a current Registered Nurse license in New Jersey.
Have at least one year of recent, verifiable clinical (medical/surgical) experience.
Have the ability to travel to assigned cases.

Nice To Haves

Prior home care experience is strongly preferred but not required.
Prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) is preferred.

Responsibilities

Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories after business hours and during weekend days and evenings.
Perform assigned duties, including medication administration, wound care, treatments, procedures, and comfort care.
Monitor clients’ conditions and report changes to the Clinical or Client Services Manager.
Follow up on, execute, and properly document doctors’ orders.
Perform client assessments as necessary.
