Registered Nurse- On-Call
About The Position
The Registered Nurse delivers aesthetic treatments, including laser hair removal, and provides personalized consultations and client education. The role involves explaining treatment plans, expected results, and pre- and post-treatment care, while documenting consultations and treatments accurately and following clinical, safety, infection-control, and regulatory requirements. The nurse creates a welcoming client experience through attentive communication, individualized recommendations, and professional support. They work with reception and studio leadership to maintain smooth studio operations, clean and treatment-ready rooms, and timely communication about client, equipment, treatment, or safety concerns. This is an on-call role. Shifts may be up to 10 hours, and providers may work up to 20–29 hours per week. Weekend availability is required, including at least two Saturdays and two Sundays per month. Sunday, evening, and holiday availability may also be required based on studio hours and business needs. Compensation includes a competitive base hourly rate, tips, and commission opportunities; tips and commissions are variable and not guaranteed. Eligible part-time employees may receive the listed benefits.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in California that meets applicable state requirements.
- Knowledge of laser treatments, skin types, hair-growth cycles, and safety protocols.
- Strong communication and client-service skills.
- Confidence educating clients and recommending personalized treatment plans.
- Positive attitude and openness to coaching and continued learning.
- Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
- Weekend availability, including at least two Saturdays and two Sundays per month.
- Availability for shifts of up to 10 hours and up to 20–29 hours per week; Sunday, evening, and holiday availability may be required.
Nice To Haves
- Prior aesthetics, laser, skincare, or consultative sales experience is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Conduct personalized client consultations.
- Perform laser hair removal and other assigned aesthetic treatments.
- Educate clients about treatment plans, expected results, and pre- and post-treatment care.
- Accurately document consultations and treatments.
- Follow clinical, safety, infection-control, and regulatory requirements.
- Make personalized service, package, and membership recommendations.
- Build client trust through education, communication, and exceptional care.
- Support goals related to rebooking, treatment-plan completion, conversion, and client retention.
- Create a warm, welcoming, and high-energy experience during every visit.
- Address client questions and concerns professionally and with care.
- Partner with reception, studio leadership, and clinical leadership to keep daily operations running smoothly.
- Maintain clean, organized, and treatment-ready rooms.
- Participate in training, coaching, promotions, and studio initiatives.
- Promptly communicate client, equipment, treatment, or safety concerns.
