Requirements
- 3+ years of post-call experience in labour and employment law.
- Strong advocacy skills with experience in labour arbitration, and labour board and human rights proceedings.
- Excellent drafting, research, and analytical skills with a practical, solution-focused approach.
- A client-service mindset with the ability to provide clear, business-oriented advice.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well within a collaborative, team-based environment.
- Interest in ongoing professional development and mentorship.
- Member in good standing of the Law Society of British Columbia (or eligibility for transfer).
- Commitment to a management-side practice in Vancouver or Kelowna.
Responsibilities
- Advising employers on a broad range of workplace law matters including labour relations, human rights and employment.
- Advocacy in labour arbitration, and labour board and human rights proceedings.
- Providing clear, business-oriented advice.
- Working collaboratively within a team-based environment.
