We are looking for a Labour and Employment Associate who enjoys working collaboratively, providing practical solutions to clients, and contributing to a supportive team environment. Requirements

  • 3+ years of post-call experience in labour and employment law.
  • Strong advocacy skills with experience in labour arbitration, and labour board and human rights proceedings.
  • Excellent drafting, research, and analytical skills with a practical, solution-focused approach.
  • A client-service mindset with the ability to provide clear, business-oriented advice.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well within a collaborative, team-based environment.
  • Interest in ongoing professional development and mentorship.
  • Member in good standing of the Law Society of British Columbia (or eligibility for transfer).
  • Commitment to a management-side practice in Vancouver or Kelowna.

Responsibilities

  • Advising employers on a broad range of workplace law matters including labour relations, human rights and employment.
  • Advocacy in labour arbitration, and labour board and human rights proceedings.
  • Providing clear, business-oriented advice.
  • Working collaboratively within a team-based environment.
