About The Position
H2O Innovation provides public works management services & operations assistance for water & wastewater treatment plants to municipalities, government organizations, and businesses across North America. H2O is currently seeking a Skilled Laborer to join our team in Long Beach, MS.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen, criminal background and motor vehicle record checks.
- Knowledge of operating characteristics of assigned equipment.
- Knowledge of work hazards and safety precautions.
- Must be willing to learn all assigned tasks and have good work ethics.
- Motivation to learn equipment operations for promotional opportunities.
- Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions, including H2O’s department rules, policies and regulations.
- Ability to communicate effectively with other personnel and supervisors.
- Ability to deal with the public on a regular basis in a professional, courteous manner.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with asphalt repair, storm drain repair, water main repair and sewer main repair.
- Performing concrete work as needed.
- Required experience includes knowledge and ability to run a weed eater and zero turn mower for extended periods of time.
- Other duties may vary.
