About The Position

Ledcor Technical Services is seeking a Laborer to support telecommunications network construction and maintenance. The role involves manual labor and assisting with construction activities while helping the crew meet project quality, schedule, and budget requirements. The successful candidate works collaboratively, follows safe work practices, and supports the well-being of colleagues.

The position requires travel throughout West Virginia as needed and the ability to perform physical work in varied weather conditions. Applicants must be eligible to work in the United States.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of related construction or telecommunications experience is preferred.
• Working knowledge of health, safety, and environmental protection practices and procedures.
• Successfully complete a criminal background check and pre-access drug and alcohol screenings.
• Possess and maintain a clean driver’s abstract and a valid full-driver’s license.
• Meet the physical requirements of the position, including sitting, standing, bending, climbing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working at heights and in varied weather conditions.
• Be able to travel throughout West Virginia as needed.
• Be able to show proof of eligibility to work in the United States.

• Electrical experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual labor, including shoveling, broom work, hand digging, pulling and removing material, job-site cleanup, and other tasks.
• Keep crew vehicles clean; conduct regular vehicle maintenance checks and complete associated paperwork.
• Assist with trenching, concrete work, fence building, and mini-excavator work.
• Read underground utility locates and follow safe digging practices.
• Assist with installing telecommunications fixtures and handling cables, conduits, and other materials.
