About The Position
A Laborer should possess a fundamental understanding of construction and be familiar with working with tools and their hands. This role involves various physical tasks related to construction and utility work, adhering to safety protocols and company policies.
Requirements
- Good verbal communication skills
- Must have valid driver’s license
- Valid DOT Health Card
- Prior utilities construction experience
Nice To Haves
- Class A Driver’s License (CDL)
Responsibilities
- Hand dig and back fill trenches
- Use hands, tools, and/or equipment to locate underground utilities and infrastructure
- Assist in pushing and pulling conduit and cable
- Operate tampers, jackhammers, drills, and saws
- Drive pick-up and one-ton vehicles to and from job site
- Carry and load materials to be used on the job
- Follow all company safety policies and practices
- Wash and clean vehicles and equipment
- Perform light repair and maintenance of tools and equipment
- Complete safety training as required by position
- Complete paperwork filing and maintenance as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
